A little bit about me!

Hello, my name is Lucia Malavaze and I am 30 years old, from Brazil. Currently I live in Grapevine  in Texas, where I work as a personal trainer and online coaching.
I've always been a great admirer of bodybuilding, but I never imagined one day I would become a high level athlete myself.

After the death of a loved one, I decided to start competing to help with coping with the loss. My first show was in 2015 at the Brazilian IFBB/NPC Championships, where I won first place.

From that day on I realized that bodybuilding was part of me. I realized that I was born to be a bodybuilder.
Bodybuilding taught me to see life differently, and saved my life by teaching me to believe in myself!

I became a professional athlete on August 11, 2018 in São Paulo – Brazil, and have now become a 2 time Bikini Olympian.
Bodybuilding taught how to be disciplined and respect myself. Something that takes a lifetime to learn, I found with this sport in a short period of time.

These are two words that summarize Bodybuilding for me, Overcoming and Discipline!
